पाकिस्तान में इस महीने की शुरुआत में हुए हिंसक विरोध प्रदर्शनों के बाद शहबाज सरकार ने अपने आतंकवाद विरोधी कानून के तहत तहरीक-ए-लब्बैक पाकिस्तान यानि TLP पर फिर से प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है. यह कदम उस समय उठाया गया है जब पाकिस्तान में अक्सर स्वतंत्र रूप से संचालित होने वाले चरमपंथी संगठनों पर अंकुश लगाने में इस्लामाबाद की बार-बार विफलता दुनिया ने देखी है.

Following violent protests in Pakistan earlier this month, the Shahbaz government has reimposed a ban on the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) under its anti-terrorism law. The move comes at a time when the world has witnessed Islamabad's repeated failure to rein in extremist organizations that often operate freely in Pakistan.
