Zohran Mamdani's Victory Speech After Winning New York Mayoral Election

“We have toppled a political dynasty,” Mamdani told his supporters, before delivering a message to his opponent. "I wish Andrew Cuomo only the best in private life but let tonight be the final time I utter his name."

Mamdani also used the speech to directly address Donald Trump, who has threatened to cut funding to New York City if he won the race.

“After all, if anyone can show a nation betrayed by Donald Trump how to defeat him, it is the city that gave rise to him,” he said. “Donald Trump, since I know you’re watching, I have four words for you: turn the volume up.”
