The documentary "Orwell: 2+2=5" takes a poetic, sprawling look at the modern-day relevance of George Orwell's writing. Oscar-nominated director Raoul Peck ("I Am Not Your Negro") juxtaposes the author's letters and journals, as well as his novels "1984" and "Animal Farm," with authoritarian images and ideas that are currently prevalent around the world. The result is harrowing and mesmerizing. Damian Lewis narrates in hushed, intimate tones. In theaters now.
