Orlando Bloom was thrilled to return as Legolas for The Hobbit, and on his first day, he tackled a challenging stunt, which involved an acrobatic jump onto a bridge to shoot an orc. Although Bloom succeeded on his first rehearsal, the scene required 10-12 takes to perfect. His performance impressed the crew, who noted how effortless he made it appear, and it was a highlight to see him doing his own stunts with such enthusiasm on set.
