OnePlus 15R Unboxing: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 7,400mAh Battery & 165Hz Display

Closing the year with the last launch, OnePlus 15R is now official. It is the company's latest 'performance-first' flagship featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, and having a massive 7,400mAh battery — the largest ever in a OnePlus phone — paired with 80W SUPERVOOC charging.

The OnePlus 15R comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a hyper-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, it features a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor with OIS, capable of recording flagship-grade 4K video at 120fps, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the selfie front, it also brings a major upgrade to the R-series with a 32MP autofocus selfie camera. Running on Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, it integrates 'Plus Mind' AI features and promises 4 years of OS updates.
