He is a British computer scientist who has made foundational contributions to programming languages, algorithms, operating systems, formal verification, and concurrent computing. In 1969 Tony Hoare developed the Hoare logic, an axiomatic basis for verifying program correctness. In 2009, Tony Hoare apologized for inventing the null pointer which has led to innumerable errors, vulnerabilities, and system crashes over the years. #SoftwareTesting #community
