NO WORKING SCANNERS AT DIPLOMATIC CENTRE

Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Barry Padarath says there are no functioning security scanners at the Diplomatic Centre, making it unsafe for use by the Prime Minister.<br /><br />He says, declaring both Whitehall and now Diplomatic Center unfit for occupation by the head of government, was not their assessment, but that of various agencies of state they met upon taking office.<br /><br />Our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh met the Minister outside the residence of Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar in San Fernando on Wednesday morning.<br /><br />It’s where she has been working since being sworn in last week. <br />
