Sabine Hossenfelder: Science Is Not Failing

Last week I put out a video about another science communicator named Sabine Hossenfelder. In it, I criticized some unprofessional behavior regarding her choice of titles, thumbnails, and generalized deceptive anti-science rhetoric which has clearly been fueling science denial among the public in large numbers. While many people were relieved to finally hear someone say these things out loud, a portion of the internet lost their minds over it, leaving infantile criticism which only demonstrated that they didn't actually watch the video or understand the point of it. All of those people wanted to talk about academia, so let's talk about academia a little bit in this video, while also addressing an unbelievably immature response video from Sabine where she doubled down on all of her bullshit rhetoric and made things much, much worse for herself. To anyone currently having a temper tantrum about the fact that I made this video as well as the first one, take a deep breath and find the courage to actually watch this video all the way through this time. There is still hope for you to get a clue today.
