Have you seen the Indian-made ‘Nirvana Inn’, starring Adil Hussain?
He plays tortured boatman 'Jogiraj' who turns up at a Himalayan resort called Nirvana Inn and is a sort of general manager there. The guests at the resort seem slightly off centre – but are they? Whose mind is playing tricks on them?
If you want to know more watch this, an interview with writer-director Vijay Jayapal. He said he was inspired by ‘The Shining’.
This film screened at the UK Asian Film Festival (May 26-June 6).
