Nirbhaya Case: Quantum of Sentence to Be Announced Today

After over 9 months and 130 hearings a Delhi fast track court had found the four accused in Nirbhaya gangrape case guilty on 13 accounts including rape and murder and today the court is all set to announce the quantum of punishment for the convicts. The prosecution had argued that their crime was the most barbaric and diabolic in nature and both the prosecutor and Nirbhaya's parents have demanded the death penalty for the brutes.
