A critical level to watch is the channel's midpoint at 25,510; getting past this could lead to an attempt to break out above the 25,780 level. For a true uptrend to start, the index must successfully break past the major resistance at 25,800. If Nifty stays below the midpoint, it is expected to test the bottom end of the range at 25,230. A breakdown below 25,230 opens the door for a steep drop to fill a gap at 25,100, with further downside toward a major support level at 24,600.
