New Steganography Tool v0.1.0 Released on GitHub 🚀

Steganography App – First Public Release (v0.1.0)

Exactly one week ago, I had an idea: What if I created a simple steganography tool that hides messages inside images? The idea came from a conversation on LinkedIn, and I decided to build it.

Over the past seven days, I’ve spent around 3–4 hours each day working on this project — with the help of AI (like ChatGPT) every step of the way. From concept to prototype to a working cross-platform app.

Today, I’m proud to release version 0.1.0, which runs on both Linux and Windows. I’ve published:
the full source code
precompiled single-file binaries for both platforms

🔍 In this video:
I demonstrate the app in Linux Mint
Show how to hide a file and a folder inside an image
Then switch to Windows 11 in a virtual machine to show it also works there

⚠️ On Windows: The Nuitka-compiled .exe triggered a false positive in Windows Defender (Program:Script/Wacapew.A!ml). This is not a real virus – just a false positive. I added an exception.

👉 The most important part: I couldn’t have done this without AI.
This project is a personal demonstration that AI can truly accelerate and empower solo developers. 🚀
