Note that this new skill is a 5 ⭐️ trick. Here I am performing it with Neymar Jr in the improved new practice arena.

I used the flair cross to do this scoring animation. You can do it with the regular flair shot buttons as well. But in any FIFA game I've found the flair cross to be far more likely to trigger unique flair shots. In FC 24 it's even more noticeable, especially since it seems they've nerfed the advanced flair shots.

Scoring with the flair cross is definitely one of the secrets for scoring better goals in EA FC 24 gameplay. However to do this, you need to have your controller settings on Lob Pass Assistance changed to Manual.
