Netanyahu: We Aim to Free Gaza, Not Occupy It 🇮🇱

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he has 'no choice' but to complete the defeat of Hamas - and will push ahead with a plan to take full military control of Gaza City, and other parts of the territory.<br /><br />In a press conference, speaking in English, Netanyahu claimed images of starving children shown in the world's media were fake - and that aid distribution was being held up by the United Nations, not Israel.<br /><br />He said the Israeli military would go after the final two Hamas strongholds in Gaza, and establish civilian governance.<br /><br />CGTN’s Jonathan Regev tells us more.<br /><br />#israel #palestine #gaza #gazacity #middleeast #netanyahu
