O Lord of Time, who ends all creation,
Destroyer of my gathered deeds and sorrow,
Giver of perfect peace and endless bliss,
Tenderly bound to those who surrender — O Śiva!
Worshipped by gods, O gracious Shankara,
Supreme of all, O Lord of lords — O Śiva!

kRta-puNya-vashAt tava rUpam-imam
kalayAmi sadA karuNAjaladhE
tava bhakta-vashankara bhUta-bhavi-
Shya-bhavatsu priyaika trishUla-patE

By virtue of grace from lives long past,
I behold Your radiant, sacred form.
