Djembe is a very popular West African drum, and it is included in this ensemble. However, there are other West African percussion rhythms worth highlighting, especially Kpanlogo. In this performance, Kpanlogo drummers from Ada, Ghana deliver powerful rhythms using the Djembe drum along with other traditional instruments.
