About this video
I passed the SAFE MLO Test (also called the SAFE MLO Exam or NMLS Exam) with a 90% score on my first try. In this video, I share my experience and the top 5 tips that I used. These tips include both free and paid online resources that I wish I knew about as I was first preparing to take the MLO Test.

LINKS:
TIP #1: Take the 8 MLO Mock Exams from OnCourse Learning (“PLATINUM: Mortgage Exam Prep Suite with Prep xL”)

TIP #2: Attend the 8-Hour National Exam Prep Webinar from OnCourse Learning

TIP #3: Take the “20-Hour SAFE MLO Pre-Licensing Course” + “2-Hour State Course” (if your state requires it) from OnCourse Learning
https://bit.ly/34BtEEE
Note, I did not take the 20-hour course from OnCourse Learning (link above), but I wish I did. The 20-hour course I took was from a different provider and I’m not recommending that one because it didn’t knock my socks off. If you already completed the 20-hour course from another provider, it would be wise for you to also do Tips #1 and #2 above, which is the approach I took.
Also, I provided a link below to the official NMLS approved course provider list. Yes, OnCourse Learning is already on the approved list.

TIP #4: Quizlet and the Test Topics
For Quizlet, go to...
https://www.quizlet.com/
Or for the Quizlet app, you can find it by searching on “Quizlet” in the App Store on your phone.
For the official MLO Test Topics, here is the link to the “SAFE National Test Content Outline” document...

Some of the links above are affiliate links. If you purchase a product through one of them, I may receive a commission (at no additional cost to you). I only ever endorse products that I have used and benefited from personally. Again, this is the information I wish I had before I took the MLO test.
