VALENTINO and Emily met in New York when he was on tour performing with Magic Mike. While Emily’s best friend received a lap dance from Valentino she made sure she was next in line. Once it was her turn, there was an instant attraction between the two of them. Valentino told Truly: "I'm a sucker for teeth and a smile. Her body was everything. I took my time with her, I did three, four tricks." After the show, she gave her number to Valentino, and they began texting every day. "It's been smooth sailing from there," Valentino said. Four years later the couple are now happily married. Emily supports her husband's career as a performer by meal prepping for the upcoming week each Sunday and washing his outfits. He is also a PT, who works out five times a week to stay in shape because, "As a male entertainer, your body is your money-maker." However, the union had a somewhat unconventional agreement from the beginning. "He sleeps with other women," Emily said. "People don't understand why I trust him." From the start of their relationship, Valentino was on tour, so Emily explained that he had "free reign to do whatever, just make sure [he tells her] about it. We see each other one weekend a month if we are lucky. I don't expect [him] not to have sex with anybody." For Emily, the arrangement works because of the strong communication they have in their partnership, "There are no secrets, so nobody will ever be able to come to me and say anything about him that I don't already know." The couple go to swinging events to meet other women and couples. Valentino explained: "I was trying to bring guys in for her. Make sure she is taken care of. She's like, 'I'm good, stop asking, I know what I have and know what I had in the past'." They both have a social media presence where they have shared the truth behind their relationship. This has opened up criticism about their way of life, "the majority of the judgement that we receive in our relationship is about swinging. They don't understand how we could share our partner with somebody else," Emily said. They receive comments saying they are "disgusting" and claiming he "controls" her. But the couple don't let the haters get to them, with Valentino even clapping back at them, "I have fun with the comments," he said. "I'll go back and forth with them and let them end up blocking me because I can do this all day. I got time." While Emily said that online, "we get an equal judgement and then also people who definitely support us. Everybody in our life who matters to us is really supportive."
