My Journey to Publishing a Paper in Theoretical Computer Science 📄

I was part of publishing a paper in theoretical computer science, believe it or not. The question asks when L_{x=y} is regular for strings x and y, where it contains all strings that have the same number of x's and y's. This came out from a homework that was to-be-assigned, but turned out to be nontrivial! I give the problem as well as what the solution is.
