About this video
That Kid Raja - My Frequency.
California rapper, That Kid Raja, drops a video for his single, "My Frequency." Shot in an "Off Limits" area in downtown Sacramento, the minimalist visual focuses on the artist instead of all the theatrics seen in most music videos today. Sci-fi, dark and nocturnal, the video shows a more alternative side of hip-hop. Musically, the song has a new-school g-funk sound inspired by West Coast giants like 2Pac, Too Short, Ant Banks, Rappin' 4-Tay and Cypress Hill. This video was shot and edited by filmmaker Shelly "The Artist" Hollis.

Quotable Lyrics: "Don't crash, man, don't trip off my bank roll it wasn't long ago that I was dwelling in a stank hole. Roach motels and leaky faucets, closets full of third-hand clothes no tissue to wipe even a snotty nose. But I rose to the occasion, made a pact for my myself to make a stack for myself. So I can make sure the rest of my family doesn't have to endure this poverty slash insantity."
