Music Thing Modular: a new Workshop System - LSPXPO 2026

We spoke to the ever charming Tom Whitwell from Music Thing Modular who gave us a look at their Workshop System  which has been evolving, escecially through the versatility of its compute module for developing various synth processes, sequencers and FX.

Tom also discussed the compute module's adaptability, citing projects with program cards, including a pitch-shifting delay card by RYK modular. Additionally, a Eurorack-compatible version of the system is to be released, offering various purchase options from DIY kits to fully assembled units, in collaboration with Thonk, Brighton.
