About this video

MrBeast, Dream, PewDiePie, T-Series, Cocomelon: The Subscriber Count Showdown (2021-2029)

In 2013, Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie reigned over YouTube, having the most subscribed channel lasting for half a decade. But in 2019, a rapidly growing channel under the Indian music label T-Series challenged his throne. After months of neck-to-neck subscriber count race, T-Series proved to be victorious in the end. Cocomelon, a nursery rhymes channel, even worsened PewDiePie's ranking, dragging him down to 3rd place last April 25th, 2021. It could be said that the Swedish YouTuber might find it already difficult to duplicate his popularity the same as before. But with their exponentially growing channels, American YouTuber and philanthropist MrBeast and American Minecraft personality Dream seem capable to repeat PewDiePie's paramount success, even outdoing it in the process. With these thrilling events occurring, which channel would possibly prevail soon?

This video projects the future subscriber count of MrBeast, Dream, PewDiePie, T-Series, and Cocomelon from April 2021 to April 2029. The future projections were based on Social Blade's approximate average daily subscriber statistics of the said YouTube channels. However, Social Blade could not provide enough data for PewDiePie's average daily subscriber statistics. For that reason, it was based instead on the channel's gained subscriber graph which was still provided by Social Blade. The graph allowed the projection of PewDiePie gaining 1 million subscribers for 5-6 months. All of the data were obtained last April 26th, 2021.

The data was illustrated using a line chart race template by Flourish Studio. Here is the link for the template:
