WI Tech Council: AI's Growing Impact in Wisconsin 🤖

On May 22nd, the Wisconsin Technology Council hosted an Innovation Network Luncheon about how artificial intelligence is taking root in Wisconsin. Designing AI systems and addressing bias in data collection were discussed. "The reality is transfer learning, designing one AI system that easily works in another environment, is an open problem...It is something humans innately do quite well, but AI systems really struggle at," Derek Riley, associate professor of computer science at Milwaukee School of Engineering, said.
