The MicroStar Micromanipulator is perfect for multiple patching, allowing the user to position up to eight electrodes around a sample.

From the same family as the PatchStar Micromanipulator, it also has four axes of movement, X, Y, Z and a virtual "approach" axis. With 20 nm resolution, it offers 20 mm smooth travel in X and Z, and 14 mm in the Y axis -- allowing you to easily patch any part of your sample.
 
Save time and space with the simple pipette exchange, achieved by a convenient slider.
 
The MicroStar can be converted between left and right handed allowing you to position it either side of your sample, ideal when space is at a premium, or you wish to alter your set up at any time.
 
Memory positions and fingertip control are available from the Control Cube and PatchPad.  Additionally, within Scientifica's LinLab software, movement speed and memory positions can be set, and the unique "follow" function can be used to link motorised, Scientifica products, together as one.
