2018年6月、５次元キーボード・パフォーマーの薮井佑介が、世界182カ国のアーチストたちが競う「Lee Ritenour's Six String Theory Competition 」ピアノ部門で世界６位タイ受賞しました。
薮井佑介は、映画「ラ・ラ・ランド」で主人公が演奏し世界じゅうを驚かせた世界初【５次元キーボード】を弾きこなすことのできる世界でも数少ない奏者・作曲家のひとりです。

世界を席巻したマイケル・ジャクソンの名曲♫Beat It ♫Billie Jean ♫Smooth Criminal のメドレーをピアノ、オルガン、チェロ、オーケストラの《ひとり４役》にアレンジ・演奏し、薮井佑介ならではの＜和魂ミュージック＞に仕上げました。マイケルのキレのあるダンスのように薮井佑介の指が鍵盤の上で舞い踊ります。

その5次元キーボードSeaboardをメインに、’宙’で音を奏でるAR[拡張現実]楽器や音楽ガジェットなど複数の最先端電子楽器を両手両足、膝、全身で弾きこなす演奏スタイルは世界でも類がなく、そのパフォーマンスは圧巻。
また、自らの歌声とシンセサイズド・ヴォイスを融合させたパフォーマンスなど、最先端テクノロジーと生身の人間が交錯する独自の次世代型ミュージックを展開。

He started learning Electone (YAMAHA electronic organ) at the age of 4 and won the grand prize in YAMAHA All Japan Electone concur at the age of 18.

He is one of the pioneer artists of cutting-edge electronic instrument (5D touch keyboard, AR musical instruments, musical gadget and so on) in the world.

At present he is one of very few players who play 5D touch keyboard ‘Seaboard‘, which the main actor played in the musical movie ‘LA LA LAND‘ and surprised people around the world.

He makes music from a piano solo to a 100-piece orchestra sound on several electronic instruments with both hands, both feet, right knee and whole boday at one time.

Moreover he creates and performs Japanese- soul Music of his own (called ‘WAKON Music’), which grafts Japanese traditional sounds & rhythms on various kinds of music around the world -- Classical music, Jazz, Rock, Pops (include anime music like Ghibli works ), Chanson and World music etc..

Especially his own concerts held in historical structures like Japan Heritage sites, shrines and temples, historical parks, and in the middle of nature have captured audiences so much. And people often say “YUSUKE YABUI in Kimono & Hakama (formal Japanese attire of a man) just looks like a SAMURAI”. He will provide the One and Only Entertainment which moves people around the world with Japanese-soul music on the cutting-edge musical Instruments.
