Meta announced it will default teenage users of Facebook and Instagram to the most restrictive privacy and content settings by default. This change aims to give teenage users a more age-appropriate experience and prevent them from seeing content involving self-harm, eating disorders, restricted goods, or nudity. The update is expected to roll out over the coming weeks and will affect users under 18 years old.
