Meta Boosts AI Content Labels Ahead of 2024 Elections 🗳️

Meta will expand efforts to identify and label AI-generated images, video, and audio on its platforms ahead of upcoming elections. Until now, Meta only labeled content from its own AI tools; it will now seek to label content from Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, Adobe, Midjourney, and Shutterstock. The expanded labeling will start with images in the coming months and continue through 2024 as technical standards are aligned with other AI companies.
