Met Office Sunday Evening Weather Forecast 20/10/2024 - Rain and strong winds to the north

The start of the evening is generally dry and clear for England and Wales but heavy rain and strong winds affect Northern Ireland and Scotland. As the night progresses the rainband moves to the north-east, moving the heavy rain and strongest winds to the north of Scotland while it becomes increasingly cloudy in England and Wales. An amber warning is in-force for strong winds in Scotland this evening.
