Scattered showers and thunderstorms across southern and central areas of England and Wales continue to clear north-northwestwards through the Midlands and north Wales, affecting the far south of Northern Ireland for a time, with clear spells following. Continuing settled across Scotland, Northern England and most of Northern Ireland with clear spells in the west but cloud and mist around eastern coasts spreading further inland.
