Met Office Afternoon Weather Forecast 27/03/24 - Heavy rain for some

A persistent band of rain clears northwards across the north of Scotland, and another band of rain across Northern Ireland, north, central and eastern England follows behind. Elsewhere there will be scattered showers through the day, some thundery and with hail, particularly across south west England and Wales. A few bright spells will develop between the showers through the day. Another band of rain moves into the south of the UK overnight, with some snow over high ground.
