Mercedes-Benz Arocs 8x8 Off-Road Test 🚚

The Mercedes Arocs 4151 8x8/4 was chosen for the test drive on the so-called extreme circuit.

In keeping with the established Mercedes-Benz nomenclature, this is a
41-tonner with four axles, all driven, two of which -- the front ones, of course -- are steered.
The engine is rated at 510 horsepower (375 kW), as is also indicated in the model designation. The engine in question is the top-of-the-range 12.8 l 6-cylinder in-line engine from Mercedes-Benz, which delivers its full output at 1800 rpm and summons up maximum tractive power of 2500 Nm at 1100 rpm.
