With the much-anticipated Assembly Elections in the Northeastern state Meghalaya approaching, TMC candidates on February 4 filed nominations form at the DC office in Ri Bhoi’s Nongpoh. George B Lyngdoh of Umroi, Saralin Dorphang from Mawhati, Gilbert Nongrum from Umsning filed their nominations. Sunmoon D Marak from Jirang, Longsing Bey from Nongpoh constituency also filed their nominations. <br />
