Megan Thee Stallion recently opened up about her ongoing tension with Nicki Minaj, revealing how she really feels about the root of their beef. Although the two collaborated on "Hot Girl Summer" in 2019, things changed after Megan's 2020 hit "WAP" with Cardi B, who has a well-known feud with Minaj. Despite fan speculation that this collaboration may have caused a rift, Megan clarified in a 107.5 WGCI interview that she didn’t feel the need to get Minaj’s approval before working with Cardi. Over the years, subtle shots have been exchanged, and in January 2021, Minaj even unfollowed Megan on Instagram. Now, in 2024, Megan expressed her confusion to Billboard.
