Not sure I would recommend this cleaner over a traditional suction side cleaner or pressure side cleaner. It's pretty heavy when you try and get it out of the pool. It is also very expensive, and only runs for 3 hours at a time. I have one customer who just refuses to put it in the pool because she can't pull it out by herself. It is a monster of a cleaner. The cord also gets tangled over time and no matter what I do I can't seem to keep it from getting twisted up.

I guess it is a good concept if your pool cannot use a more traditional suction side cleaner due to overwhelming debris in your pool, but it will get stuck on big debris too just as most suction side cleaners can't handle large debris (pine cones, large oak nuts, maple tree seed pods to name a few). It does clean the pool pretty well, but you will need to reset the on/off switch if you want to run it everyday like a traditional suction side or pressure side cleaner.

Some purchasers have complaints about the life span of this cleaner, particularly the motor that drives it.

Some positive notes:
They filter about 5000 gallons per hour so in 3 hours that's about a half day's filtration.

It is ultra energy efficient since you do not have to run the pool pump to clean the pool. It runs off 110 volts and the transformer converts it to 24 volts. It uses about 12 cents of energy to clean the pool.
