The tournament takes place for the 145th time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was both Sinner and Sabalenka’s first US Open title and third Grand Slam title.
