Mastering the Sum of the First n Natural Numbers in Algebra 📚

In this week's episode of our mathematics class (episode 33), we dove deeper into the world of algebra and series. Starting on page 215 of the book "KA Stroud Engineering Mathematics with Dexter Booth", I walked through the process of deriving a general formula for the sum of the first n natural numbers using sigma notation. I also covered the rules for manipulating sums, making it easier for you to tackle similar problems on your own.

In the second half of the class, I introduced the concept of exponential functions, including the exponential constant e and how it relates to the exponential function. By the end of the episode, we had completed program F7 of our textbook, bringing us one step closer to completing the book.
