Master Solving Systems of Linear Equations by Graphing 📊 | Easy Step-by-Step Guide

In this video lesson you will learn how to solve a system of linear equations by graphing. We will begin by reviewing vocabulary terms: system of linear equations and solution of a system of linear equations. A practice problem will follow to determine the solution of a graphed system of linear equations. We will then learn 3 steps to solving a system of linear equations by graphing. Step 1 will be to graph each linear equation in the system. Step 2 will be to identify the point of intersection by the ordered pair which is the solution. Step 3 will be to check the solution by evaluating each equation in the system using the ordered pair to be sure it is a solution to both equations. An exemplar problem is modeled using each of the three steps. Student practice problems follow with modeled exemplar solutions.
