About this video
"Teaching for the Virtual School of Computational Science and Engineering"
The "Parallel Algorithm Techniques" graduate-level course originated from the University of Illinois has been offered through VSCSE and XSEDE twice so far, with participation from U. Minnesota, GeorgiaTech, U. Tennessee, North Carolina State U., and Oklahoma U. I will give a brief overview of the course contents and report our experience from the two multi-university offerings to date.
The βDesigning and Building Applications for Extreme Scale Systemsβ graduate class from the University of Illinois was offered for the first time this spring, with participation from the University of North Dakota and the University of Wyoming. I will give a brief overview of the course and discuss my experience using a βflippedβ class.
