About this video

Bob Generates Key Pairs: Bob utilizes AWS KMS to create sets of asymmetric keys. Referred to as 'BobPair,' this key pair comprises a public key and a private key. The public key is shareable, while the private key remains confidential.

Bob Encrypts Message for Alex: When Bob needs to send a secure message to Alex, he accesses Alex's public key. With this key, Bob encrypts the message, ensuring that only Alex, holding the corresponding private key, can decrypt it.

Bob Transmits Encrypted Message to Alex: Bob securely sends the encrypted message to Alex. As it is encrypted with Alex's public key, only she can decrypt it using her private key.

Alex Decrypts the Message: Alex, upon receiving the encrypted message, uses her private key from the 'BobPair' set to decrypt it. Possessing the private key that matches the encryption public key, she successfully decrypts the message and reads Bob's intended communication.
