<br />Refreshing to see an Indian/part Indian/ Indian origin man as a hero in a love story set in a different cultural environment. I think he was testing her loyalty by not giving away his truth at the outset, letting her believe he was poor. The narcissistic ex smelled her doubts and almost convinced her, a moment she would have regretted for sure. Her mother's face had unwilling compromises written all over it. Glad she chose a different path!
