Maria Ressa on the Doomsday Clock 🕰️

Maria Ressa joined the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists for the 2026 Doomsday Clock announcement. Ressa is co-founder and CEO of news website @Rappler, professor of professional practice at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and 2021 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, cited for her "efforts to safeguard freedom of expression, which is a precondition for democracy and lasting peace."
