Manchester United Approves Transfer Agreement for Bryan Mbeumo

Manchester United have reached a basic agreement to sign Bryan Mbuemo from Brentford in the summer transfer window. It is understood United are happy to pay a £60 million base fee for the forward, with add-ons set to take the overall package towards roughly £65m.<br /><br />Brentford have used the transfer of Matheus Cunha as a benchmark for Mbeumo and believe he should be valued at least as highly as the Wolves star, who has joined United for £62.5m. The London club initially set a £65m valuation for Mbeumo and made it clear he was not for sale unless a side paid the bulk of that fee upfront.<br /><br />United remain confident they will wrap up a deal for the 25-year-old soon and have him in place when they begin their pre-season schedule early next month. Right now, the only thing left to do is finalise the payment structure of the £60m and determine achievable add-ons that both clubs are happy with.
