Macy's Thanksgiving Parade 2025: New Balloons 🎈

Get an inside look at the new balloons revealed for the 99th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2025. This year, four new featured character balloons will debut, including Buzz Lightyear by Pixar Animation Studios; Mario by Nintendo; PAC-MAN™ by @Bandai Namco Entertainment America, Inc; and Shrek's Onion Carriage from Universal Pictures' Dreamworks Animation. Additionally, Frost Pips™ by The Lumistella Company and Freida the Dachshund by Macy's, in partnership with The Farmer's Dog, will be showcased before joining this year's march.

At Macy's Balloonfest, the Parade's new balloons are test flown under the direction of a highly skilled Macy's flight management team for an outdoor trial run to get firsthand experience flying ahead of their Thanksgiving Day flights.
