Most MacBooks come with base storage like 256GB or 512GB, and it can fill up very quickly if you use heavy apps, do video editing, or work with large files. In this video, I show how you can easily fix MacBook storage issues using external SSDs, without replacing your laptop or spending unnecessarily.

I first test a SanDisk external SSD with around 500MB/s speeds as a budget-friendly option, then move to a more powerful setup using a UGREEN NVMe enclosure with Thunderbolt 4 and a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe SSD. With this setup, the speed jumps from around 500MB/s to nearly 3500MB/s. I compare both options and help you decide which one makes more sense based on performance and budget.
