Except this version is made with Brandy. Dating back to the Chicago World's Fair, a company in California decided to make their own Brandy following a grape blite that left Brandy limited in the US. Some Wisconsinites were at the world's fair, and decided to bring the brandy back home, and not long later the Wisconsin Old Fashioned was born. You can use any of your favorite brandys, but the traditional version is to use Korbel, the company from the World's Fair. Muddle ingredients until sugar is fully dissolved. Add Ice to your glass, then add brandy. Stir your drink. Top off your drink with choice of Soda Garnish with Orange wedge and cherry.
