Long ago, a Dark Lord known as Sauron laid waste to the Free Peoples of Middle-Earth. Sweeping through the land with his seemingly limitless armies of orcs, trolls, and other devilish beasts, Sauron appeared all but invincible.

In a last ditch effort to defeat their enemy, the forces of Men and Elves converge on the slopes of Mount Doom (Prologue). The battle that awaits them is fierce, but courage and determination can bring about the freedom of all.
