The True Path <br /> <br />The Discovery of a True Career Path- a film for every child and parent <br /> <br />This film we did recently for a path breaking venture, dedicated to finding a child’s true career path, went through a crazy grind maybe but was ultimately satisfying. <br /> <br />It was such an exciting prospect for us to land this project only because we believe that it applies to each and every child and is so needed today. It is only too obvious that the over-hyped churn of engineers and doctors in our country has got little to do with love for those professions but more to do with A) not knowing other options and B) this unnecessary thing called pressure. The pressure of parents, the confusion in the minds of children and the fear of the future are some of the obstacles that come in the way to make a clear and right career choice. <br /> <br /> Our job was to show how LODESTAR could address that. <br />This was a delicate pitch we felt, that needed careful handling, a sense of humour, not too much frivolity, conventional wisdom, an easy method to detail the meticulousness of the concept and a clear explanation of how it’s really done- Discovering True Career Paths. Since they do have it all- Rosters of 250 plus career options, the whole mapping of that, individualistic aptitude tests, one on one counselling sessions, pointer to some really wonderful unheard of careers, true-to-life-salary expectations, busting of myths and misinformation; so on and so forth <br /> <br />Lodestar- India’s First Scientific Career Guidance Company is an idea whose time has come.
