LOC Kargil is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language historical war film based on the Kargil War fought between India and Pakistan, produced and directed by J. P. Dutta under his banner "J. P. Films". The film features an ensemble cast of Bollywood stars and music composed by Aadesh Shrivastava and Anu Malik, with the former composing the score and the latter composing the songs.

Plot:
LOC: Kargil is a patriotic war drama based on true events from the 1999 Kargil conflict. The story begins when Indian Army patrols along the Line of Control go missing, prompting the deployment of additional troops to the high-altitude regions of Kargil, Dras, Batalik, and Mushkoh Valley. Several battalions — including the Gorkha Rifles, Grenadiers, Jat Regiment, Rajputana Rifles, and Jammu & Kashmir Rifles — are mobilized to reclaim strategic peaks from infiltrators.

The film follows the bravery of real-life heroes such as Lt. Manoj Pandey, Capt. Vikram Batra, Capt. Vijayant Thapar, Maj. Rajesh Adhikari, and others, showing their courage in intense battles at key locations like Tololing, Tiger Hill, Khalubar Ridge, Point 4875, and the Three Pimple Complex. Despite difficult terrain, harsh weather, and heavy opposition, the soldiers fight with determination and sacrifice.

With the support of the Indian Air Force and precise artillery strikes, the army secures one victory after another, culminating in the recapture of all occupied peaks. Operation Vijay concludes successfully on 14 July 1999, honoring the courage and ultimate sacrifice of India’s armed forces.
