The newly elected Bihar Legislative Assembly convenes today for a five-day session scheduled from December 1 to December 5.

The Bihar Legislative Council will hold a three-day session from December 3 to December 5.

On the opening day, Pro-tem Speaker Narendra Narayan Yadav will administer the oath to the 243 newly elected MLAs, marking the formal beginning of the Assembly’s functioning after the election results.

Key political formations — JDU, BJP, RJD, Congress, HAM, CPI(ML) and others — will be present as the House begins proceedings, setting the stage for legislative business, government formation dynamics, and crucial floor tests expected in the coming days.
