Learn How to Hide Text in Images with Steganography 📸

🔐 𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞 (𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲)

🎯 Objective: Embed a text file (Hide.txt) into an image file (Test.png) using basic command-line operations.

📁 Files Used:
𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐞.𝐭𝐱𝐭– The text file to hide
𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭.𝐩𝐧𝐠 – The image file to use as a cover

🧩 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭 - 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗭𝗜𝗣
Compress Hide.txt into a ZIP archive.
Delete the original text file if desired.
You now have: Hide.zip

🔐𝙉𝙤𝙬 𝙃𝙞𝙙𝙚.𝙯𝙞𝙥 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙-𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙕𝙄𝙋 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙚
✅ Using WinRAR or 7-Zip (GUI)
WinRAR Steps -
✍ Right-click on Hide.zip → Select "Add to archive…"
✍ In the General tab, set archive name as Hide.7z
✍ Click Set Password…
👉 Enter and confirm your password
👉 Click OK → Your password-protected Hide_2.7z is created.

🧠 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮 - 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗭𝗜𝗣 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲
Open Command Prompt in the directory containing both Test.png and Hide_2.7z
Run the following command:
𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 /𝗯 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁.𝗽𝗻𝗴 + 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗲.𝟳𝘇 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻.𝗽𝗻𝗴
This creates a new image: Hidden.png

🕵️ 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯 - 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗲
Hidden.png will behave like a normal image.
But if you rename it to:
𝙃𝙞𝙙𝙙𝙚𝙣.7𝙯

𝙸𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚏𝚒𝚕𝚎 𝚎𝚡𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 .𝚣𝚒𝚙 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚘 .𝚛𝚊𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚎𝚡𝚝 𝚏𝚒𝚕𝚎.

Then open it using WinRAR, 7-Zip, or any archiver - you’ll see password Protected Hide.txt inside with zip file.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐞.

✅ Conclusion:
This technique works by appending ZIP data to the end of a valid image file. The image remains viewable, while archiving tools recognize the embedded ZIP structure.
